Building Story

What's inside

You may have good products and an experienced team, yet still struggle to explain why customers should choose you. We work with you to resolve that question and carry the answer into your marketing and sales materials.

What we work on

  • Your products and offer: review what you sell, how the range is organised and how its value is explained.
  • Your market and customers: examine competitors, buying motivations and available customer evidence to identify opportunities.
  • Your positioning: establish whom you serve, what makes you relevant and why customers should believe you.
  • Your brand story and language: develop the central narrative, key messages, tone of voice and supporting product stories.
  • Your marketing and sales materials: create and improve the work required by the agreed plan. This may include campaign concepts, copy, visual materials, social content, website messaging, presentations and exhibition communications.
  • Your ongoing direction: coordinate agreed activity with your team and suppliers, review the response and adjust priorities.

How the partnership develops

We begin with a review of the business and its current marketing. Together, we establish the positioning, messaging and initial action plan.

We then put that direction into practice through a shared schedule of work. Monthly reviews keep decisions moving; a mid-point review assesses what has changed and what the handover needs to include.

What you gain

A clear basis for explaining your business, a consistent approach across customer touchpoints and a partner who stays involved as the work develops.

For established businesses that need a clearer position, a stronger story and a consistent direction for their marketing.

From Scratch

What's inside

We work with you from the first commercial questions through launch and the learning that follows. This includes the ongoing support described in Building Story, with additional work to establish the brand’s foundations.

What we establish

  • The proposition: who the offer is for, the problem it addresses and the reasons someone would buy.
  • Commercial assumptions: challenge the proposed offer, pricing logic and route to market; identify what needs testing before further investment.
  • The name: develop and assess naming options against an agreed brief, including preliminary domain and name-availability checks.
  • The brand foundations: positioning, personality, story, core messages and visual direction.
  • The launch plan: define the initial audience, offer, channels, sequence and measures of progress.
  • Launch materials: create the agreed messaging, presentations, campaign materials and customer-facing content needed to introduce the brand.
  • Post-launch development: use customer feedback and available performance evidence to improve the offer, messages and marketing.

How the partnership develops

Foundation: resolve the audience, proposition, naming and brand direction.

Launch preparation: develop the agreed materials, coordinate delivery and prepare the route to market.

Launch and development: introduce the offer, review the response and refine it until handover.

The timetable is agreed around the readiness of your product, team and suppliers. After launch, the emphasis moves from creating the brand to helping it establish itself and develop.

What you gain

A coherent brand and launch programme, with strategic and creative support through the first weeks of meeting real customers, then a clean handover.

For founders and businesses creating a new brand, launching a product line or preparing a new venture for market.

One Project

What's inside

You may be introducing a product, preparing for an exhibition, developing a campaign or improving the way you present your business. We take the project from the initial question through to the agreed delivery.

What’s included

  • Discovery: understand the business, product, audience and problem the project must address.
  • A clear brief: agree the objective, deliverables, responsibilities, schedule and fee before work begins.
  • Strategic and creative development: establish the message and develop the approach.
  • Creation: produce the copy, designs and materials specified in the brief.
  • Review and refinement: develop the agreed direction through feedback at defined checkpoints.
  • Delivery: provide the final materials in the agreed formats, with guidance for their use.

Examples of projects

A product launch campaign, an exhibition concept and sales presentation, a product catalogue, a website messaging project, or an advertising concept developed for selected channels.

The brief determines the work. A single advertisement and a complete launch campaign receive different proposals.

How it works

We discuss the challenge, prepare a written proposal and begin once the scope is agreed. Changes that materially expand the project are priced and scheduled before proceeding.

Advertising spend, printing, travel, specialist production and external supplier costs are identified separately where needed.

What you leave with

Completed work built around a clear purpose, ready for the agreed use.

For businesses with a specific marketing challenge and a clear destination. One agreed project, from brief to delivery.

Marketing Direction Session

What's inside

Bring a specific challenge: an unclear proposition, a campaign that is underperforming, a product launch, a positioning question or uncertainty about where to focus your effort.

What’s included

  • Preparation: a short questionnaire and advance review of relevant materials. We agree what to review before the session.
  • A focused working session: 90 minutes with Semih Saridje, online or in person by arrangement.
  • An independent assessment: identify the central problem, challenge assumptions and examine practical options.
  • Written recommendations: a concise summary of the decisions, priorities and recommended next steps, delivered within five working days.
  • Follow-up: a 30-minute online conversation within 30 days to clarify recommendations and discuss initial progress.

How to get the most from it

Choose one principal challenge and include the people who can act on the discussion. Share the relevant materials beforehand so the session can focus on decisions.

If the challenge requires extensive research or a wider strategy project, we explain that before confirming the booking.

Semih Saridje draws on his experience in marketing, products and international business to connect the subject to the decisions your team faces.

Keynote topics

  • Why customers should choose you: making your value clear in a competitive market.
  • Stories that support sales: connecting product features with what matters to the buyer.
  • From product to brand: developing a position and a message people can recognise.
  • Taking your story into new markets: adapting communication while keeping the brand coherent.

What the keynote includes

  • A preparation call with the organiser to understand the audience and event objectives.
  • Selection and adaptation of the topic, examples and emphasis.
  • A 45–60-minute talk followed by up to 20 minutes of questions.

When a workshop is the better fit

Choose a workshop when you want participants to work on a live business challenge. Through guided discussion and exercises, the team develops an agreed output, such as a positioning statement, a sales narrative or campaign priorities.

Workshop duration, participants, preparation and outputs are agreed in a separate proposal.

Practical details

Delivery is available in Turkish or English, online or in person by arrangement. Travel and accommodation are quoted separately. Recording, publication and reuse are agreed before the event.

What your team takes away

A shared perspective, useful questions and practical ideas connected to their work.

For sales teams, marketers and business leaders who want a fresh perspective on how customers choose, how brands communicate and how ideas become action.

The ground rules

We are not a social media agency. We don't sell monthly bundles of Reels, posts and stories. Social content is often part of the work, but it comes out of the strategy; it isn't the product. If the story needs a Reel, we make the Reel. We just don't start there.

Each package runs on a monthly model, not a subscription. Building Story and From Scratch run for as long as the work needs: usually two or three months, never more than six. Then we hand over. There is no annual plan and nothing renews by default.

The fee is monthly for the length of the engagement. You pay for the months we work together and it stops when we hand over. Advertising spend, travel, printing, paid research, specialist production, software and external suppliers are separate and need your approval.

Work follows priorities, not quotas. No fixed allocation of posts, videos or designs. We agree the objective, choose the work that supports it and set a realistic schedule.

A shared plan keeps progress visible. You see what is underway, what comes next and what we need from your team. When something urgent comes up, we agree what moves.

One brand, one agreed scope. Additional brands, markets or major launches are scoped separately. Website and app development, substantial filming and exhibition production get their own brief, timetable and budget, though their strategy and creative direction can sit inside the engagement.

Handover is part of the job. You leave with the positioning, the messages, the materials and a clear plan your team or another supplier can run with. If you want us involved after that, we agree it as a new project, not a rollover.

Story or nothing

Nothing can outshine a good story. Nothing.

Look, I'm not trying to be dramatic; we Homo sapiens organize ourselves around stories. It might sound controversial, but even the largest forms of organization -like religions- start with stories. The apple of Adam and Eve, the story of Moses parting the sea with his staff, and Steve Jobs' garage tale are not so different from each other.

Stories are everywhere: in fashion, music, cinema, and theater. They are present in commerce, governments, and cultures.

My story began in 1986, in an interesting union called Yugoslavia. It grew in Macedonia and eventually took root in Turkey. In "30 Pages" (a book where I answer four questions about marketing), I explained the importance of storytelling and the beginning of my marketing story as follows:

"Years later, when my path crossed with marketing, driven by my curiosity and admiration for it, I would recall this: Marketing is another name for dancing with stories. It doesn't matter what you believe is right. What matters is having a strong story that can convince others of your truth."

Since the day I entered the workforce immediately after graduating in 2009, I've traveled to dozens of countries. Over a 10-year period, I managed $120 million in export revenue. And the most important thing I learned was this: nothing can replace a good story.

Marketing exists to move people, make them visible, and create intent. None of these can happen without a solid story to justify them. Christmas is a story, and the motivation it creates to purchase is its justification. Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and birthdays. That necklace worn by the pop star you admire. Cristiano Ronaldo's watch.

If you're here today, seeking to build a story, welcome. We can help you.
